Wyandanch Memorial High School serves as the host school each year for the ACT-SO, a youth enrichment initiative run by the NAACP that supports high school students of African descent. ACT-SO focuses on developing academic, artistic, and leadership skills through mentorship and competition in areas like STEM, humanities, and the arts
